- Major Improvement: Livestream Reconnect improved
From now on it is no longer necessary to have a producing client (Studio / ShowControl) running in order to have a livestream reconnect properly while a live-show is airing. You just need the ShowControl to start a live-show and can keep it closed until the end of your show. If your external encoder disconnects for whatever reason but reconnects within some minutes, our system detects the reconnect and automatically exchanges the old stream with the new stream in all scenes. This will of course work also for your archive.
The system will also keep previously set volume- and global-settings for the new stream. If you use an external encoder like the Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder you just have to make sure, that the stream-name you are publishing stays the same when it reconnects.

- Major Improvement: Faster access to scene-editing
Editing scenes in the Studio should now be possible way faster than before. You will also see a direct change in the availability of livestreams in the scene-editors, when a livestream reconnects or disconnects.

- Major Improvement: Playback of recorded shows
We improved the playback of recorded shows. Playing back a recorded show won't use up all available bandwidth anymore. It also will seek faster.

- General Improvement: Viewer - Bandwidth-Management
If a livestream, encoded with video and audio is only being heard and not seen, the Viewer will only use up the bandwidth needed to stream the audio-part of the stream.

- General Improvement: Viewer - Improved error-handling with livestreams
The Viewer will now identify even more different kind of problems with the playback of livestreams and will try to switch to alternative delivery-ressources.

- General Improvement: Viewer - Improved connection-loss-handling when playing back recorded shows or playlists
If the Viewer recognizes a general problem with the internet-connection while playing back an archived show it will now stop the playback until the internet-connection is available again.

- Fixed Bugs:
- Viewer: Fixed issues with very long playlists.
- Studio: It could happen, that an available livestream was displayed as "not found" all of a sudden in a scene editor.
- Studio: We fixed a bug that had images and objects turn into text.
- Studio: Changes on a text-object were not always stored properly.
- Studio: When a selected library-item was deleted, it was still visible in the object-editor-pane.
- Studio: Changing the aspect-ratio of one livestream could lead to representation errors of the stream in the Studio.

- New Feature: Copy Live-Streams to several Channels
You can now publish a single live-stream to multiple channels at the same time. You just have to publish one stream to make.tv, our servers will then copy the stream to the channels you chose. So there is no additional bandwidth needed.

- Major Improvement: Conference Microsite
You can now even more customize the outlook of your Conference-Microsite. You can for example add a Description-Text-Box or disable the timetable-box.

- General Improvement: Featured Channels
We added a new area to our website, where you can find featured channels of users, who are successfully using make.tv

- General Improvement: Initial Volume of embedded Player
On the Embed-Generator-Page you can now set the initial volume of the embed-player. This will even overwrite the stored user-settings, so you can make sure, that your embedded player loads with the correct volume.

- General Improvement: Export-Archives improved
Our Export-Archives are now more reliable.

- General Improvement: Service reliability improved
We've made several improvements in the background of make.tv, which lead to a better overall performance .

- Fixed Bugs:
- Studio / Player: Videos & Music could be displayed as Not-Available after playing back one time completely
- Studio: Pictures could be displayed as Not-Available even though they already were displayed before
- Page: Uploading Video files bigger than 1 GB could have failed (maximum size is now 2 GB)
- External Encoders: Under certain disconnect-conditions it was possible, that the reconnected stream was successfully published but not visible in the studio
- Studio: Layer-Control was buggy
- Player: Seeking displayed video too early

Update V. 29923 online

- New Application: Screengrabber
We are proud to present our brand new screengrabber, now also for Mac (64 bit only).
Just download the installer from the tools-page. After a short performance-test on startup you will just have to enter your registered e-mail-address and corresponding password of your make.tv account.
After login, you can select to which of your channels the stream should be broadcasted. The stream can then be used just like every other live-stream in the make.tv system.

- Major Improvement: New Content-Delivery-Network integrated
We successfully integrated a new global CDN in the make.tv system. Especially viewers from outside europe will benefit from this.
We still need a few days until we can enable the new CDN and will post another changelog-message when this has happened.

- General Improvement: New Tools-Page and Tools-Bar
We refurbished our Encoding-Tools-Page, which should be cleaner now.
In addition we added a Tools-Bar below the "Enter Studio"-Button, with direct access to the Simple Show Control and our Online Encoder.

Archive rendering will now take longer but you (and your viewers) will benefit from faster archive-startup and a lot better seeking behaviour.
